Introducing Our Sister Site…Greenetarians.com

By Marcie Barnes

We are very pleased to announce that we are creating a sister site for spherre that will be a high-quality news/education site called www.greenetarians.com. The theme of this site will be “Green Lifestyle Design” — a concept designed to attract people from all over the world who are interested in becoming greenetarians.

We plan to have topics on the site that will correspond with (and educate people on) their typical modern lifestyle and how they can be “greener”. For example, the best kinds of foods to buy that are not only better for your health but also for the health of the planet; the best modes of transportation that (again) are best for your health and the health of the planet; the best kinds of cleaning products to buy that (once again) are best for your health and the health of the planet, and so on and so on.

We also will be featuring some of the best grassroots non-profits from around the world that are doing the most important work keeping our planet and its inhabitants clean, happy and healthy. Of course, these will be the non-profits that we hope you will support by joining www.spherre.com when it’s ready.

As with spherre, the content will be free, and the only advertising will only be highly relevant products and services that go along with the topics at hand. We will also have a membership package available if you want to join the official community and get some cool gear along with it.

Now, can you help us out and tell us which of these two logos is your favorite?

(Click to see the full version, will open in a new tab. And feel free to add comments at the bottom of this post.)

  1. Jeff Kavanaugh:

#3 is more scannable, looks just a little quirky (which is good), and has just a touch of formality (also good). The others are too flowery (not in a green sense), and harder to read. The name itself is a twist on other words (which requires a bit thinking), so the actual visual needs to be crisp.

  2. Jeanette:

I agree with Jeff, although at first I thought I liked the first one, #3 is more readable and since the name is so long, you need it readable. Also I like the tag line “green lifestyle design” closer to the logo.

  3. marcie:

Note from me, the older comments are in reference to an earlier poll that had 4 choices, so as not to confuse anyone!

  4. marcie:

Poll is closed – we have a winner! Thanks everyone for your help.
